Celebrating the launch of Jukebox Kino

We’re delighted to be hosting a launch event for Jukebox Kino – a new distribution platform which will go live following the Festival in September.

Jukebox Kino is a UK subscription offer which operates like an old school 45rpm singles-only club, but with CINEMA! Founded by North East-based production company Pinball Films, subscribers pay one of three subscription rates and will receive four unique feature films, one per quarter in 2014/15.

The very first film to become available will be Dummy Jim by Matt Hulse – a road movie by bicycle which screened at Berwick last year, and which the Festival helped to tour around Scotland over the Summer.

Join us – and Pinball Films – to celebrate this launch with 7inch vinyl and real ale at Kazmiranda Café on Friday 19th Sepember where DJ Stagger Lee Fisher will be spinning classic and lost 45's from the last fifty years for your delight and delectation.

You can our chat with Jukebox Kino here over on our blog.
