Event: Second talk scheduled by artist Katie Davies at ISIS Arts

Following a superb reaction to Katie's upcoming event at The Maltings Theatre & Cinema, we are very pleased to announce a second talk from our artist in residence Katie Davies, on Wednesday 14 May at ISIS Arts in Newcastle upon Tyne.

This is your opportunity to meet and talk with Katie Davies, as she starts her 6 month artist residency programme with Berwick Visual Arts and Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival.

Bristol based Katie Davies is a video artist who explores the politics of spectatorship, her installations valuing what is invisible and experiential, over a definitive image or document of time. Katie will be living and working in Berwick-upon-Tweed for the next 6 months and will be creating new work that will be premiered at the 10th Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival in September.

At these events, she will talk about her plans for the residency responding to the theme of the Festival, Border Crossing; which will pay particular reference to the Scottish indepedence referendum taking place during the 10th edition of the Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival.

Both events are free but places are limited:
