Shortlist for the inaugural Wilson's Tales Film Award

We’re thrilled to announce the shortlist for the inaugural Wilson’s Tales film award, encouraging filmmakers to re-interpret one of  “Wilson’s Tales.” These were initially published by John Wilson, Editor of the Berwick Advertiser in the 1830’s who became a publishing sensation.

The winning film will be awarded a £300 cash prize to go towards the filmmakers’ next project donated by the Wilson’s Tales Project. The winner and runner up will be announced at the Young Filmmakers Showcase on Sunday 29th September by a high profile jury including Rob Earnshaw (Chairman of the National Youth Film Academy), local filmmaker Alysoun Sharpe, and director Kari Anne Moe, (Bravehearts).
