2 months to go...!
2 months today we’ll be putting on our gladrags, chilling the fizz and running around like headless chickens! But before all that, here’s a little update:
Last week we released our Early Bird Festival Pass, which allows you to see all film screenings and attend all live events (subject to booking and availability) for just £30 or £25 for concessions. We are busy developing exclusive offers for Festival Pass holders with our partners across the North East and Scottish Borders, so watch this space as more accommodation, food & drink offers are added.
Tickets for our live event (also a new festival commission) Field Music – Drifters are also now on sale via the website and The Maltings Box Office and we are sure the event will be busy, so don’t miss out! The full Festival programme will be announced on Monday 19th August, when all screening and event tickets will go on sale.
Booking in advance is recommended for getting to and staying in Berwick for the Festival – with last year’s Festival ‘selling out’ Berwick’s accommodation providers please also check out accommodation options in Northumberland and the Scottish Borders.
Meanwhile keep checking for updates on our shiny newly refreshed website – and feel free to get in touch with your feedback and suggestions on Facebook and Twitter.
We are excited to announce that one of the Festival’s new commissions, Norwegian artist Sidsel Christensen’s new moving image work, Study for Composition X, will be filmed in Berwick at the end of the month. The artist will film in various locations on Berwick’s coastline for this new work to be premiered at the Festival, and you can see her previous work on her website.
All for now folks!
