Chris Anderson Award for Best Young Filmmaker Open for Submissions

Chris Anderson Award for Best Young Filmmaker Open for Submissions

The Chris Anderson Award was launched in 2007 to encourage young people involved in filmmaking and to identify promising new talent in the region. The award offers a cash prize which has kindly been donated by the family of Chris Anderson - his widow Chrissie Anderson and son Paul WS Anderson (Resident Evil, The Three Musketeers).

We are now proud to announce our call for submission for this prestigious award! Make sure you click on the Chris Anderson Award link here for more information, entry guidelines and the submission form.

Entries will be short-listed by the young people involved in the Festival’s Film Night – a weekly session for teenagers run in partnership with the Berwick Youth Project – and selected to be presented on the big screen as part of a gala event at The Maltings Theatre & Cinema on Saturday 22nd September.
