Now open for entries!
The Festival is all set to return Wednesday 19 – Sunday 23 September 2012, and we are currently open for moving image submissions of all types - narrative and experimental, live action and animation, fiction and documentary, and from all over the world – to screen as part of the Festival!
Pictures In Motion
Each year, the Festival is curated thematically, and this year we focus on the relationship between the still and the moving image. Entitled Pictures in Motion, the programme will feature work that has been created by artists who have moved from photography into filmmaking, or that has been inspired by photography, whether through use of still image sequences or freeze frames, portraits or landscapes.
Early Bird offer!
For the first time, the Festival is introducing an Early Bird offer, charging an admin fee of only £5 / €6 per short film and £10 / €12 for features submitted by 2nd April. Entries can now be submitted online as well as on DVD. Click here for the submissions guidelines, and for the online form.
The Festival closes for entries on 29th June 2012, meanwhile a call for proposals for commissions will follow in March. The 2012 programme will be announced and tickets go on sale mid August and the Festival dates are 19th – 23rd September 2012.
