Seven Signs that Mean Silence

Saturday 26th September / 7PM @ The Maltings Theatre & Cinema

Seven Signs that Mean Silence is a story about the human search for meaning in a dark void. It’s a story of love and friendship; between symbols and letters, words and voices, sound and image, objects and their names, poetry and speech.

Screening as part of the Berwick New Cinema Shorts programme. From desktop documentary to flicker film, Berwick New Cinema Shorts is a specialist programme probing facts, fictions, representations and violence. Transgressing restraints of genre, capital and expectation these are films that throb with unbounded visual imagination, are spiced with humour and expand our understandings of film and moving image.
