The 12th Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival returns with 12 Exhibitions!

One of the key characteristics of Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival is the possibility to exhibit artists' and filmmakers' work both inside and outside of the cinema space.

The Festival presents new commissions by Lucy Parker and world premieres from Artists in Profile Claire Hooper and Deborah Stratman whose works are featured accross the Festival in exhibitions, retrospective screenings and performances.

During the Festival, exhibitions are installed in the Gymnasium Gallery and in some of Berwick’s most remarkable historic buildings including a custom house, ice houses once used to preserve salmon, a gunpowder magazine, prison cells, council chambers, a guard house and the town’s medieval fortifications.

The Festival Exhibition is really easily walkable, entirely free of charge and will be open Thursday 21st - Sunday 23rd September 2015 from 11:00am - 6:00pm.
